The Minneapolis Public Library will have a limited reopening beginning Monday May 18th at 10 a.m.  Library Service will be a pick up service. Library materials may be picked up at the North (side) door.  To aid staff and yourself in selection of library materials, please use the Library catalog at https://catalog.bywatersolutions.com/ and select Minneapolis as the Library.  Please phone or email 15 minutes prior to your arrival for the best service.  The phone number is 785-392-3205 or email is mplibrary@nckcn.com.  There will be a limit of 2 recent release materials per family.  All other books and DVDs are available for checkout.  At this time, magazines are not available for circulation.  Please be patient with material availability, as returned materials must be quarantined for 72 before they are accessible again for checkout.  Additionally, please be respectful of your fellow patrons and return materials as soon as practicable, when you are finished with them.  Staff will be wearing face masks and gloves for your and their protection.  See below for new library hours of operation.  May 18, 2020.

New Hours of Operation:

  • Monday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Tuesday:  12 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Wednesday:  12 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Thursday:  12 a.m.- 7 p.m.
  • Friday:  10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Saturday:  10 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Sunday:  Closed
