The Minneapolis Public Library in Minneapolis, Kansas, welcomes all new and continuing patrons to the Library.

As of this date, face masks are not required to enter the Library.  You may continue to wear face masks according to your medical needs or comfort level.  Hand sanitizer continues to be furnished as you enter the library for your protection and that of our other patrons.  All returned materials are run through our book sanitizer.  This machine uses UV-C to kill bacteria, viruses, and even bed bugs.  It was purchased with SPARKS money for all of our library safety.  Computers remain open subject to current restrictions.  Only every other computer will be available, a strict 1-hour time limit per person per day remains.  Only infants or young children may accompany their parents or caregivers at the computers.  Stricter regulations could come back into force should COVID make a strong return.

While you are in the Library, check out our most recent books, magazines, and DVDs.  New materials are being added all the time for your reading or watching enjoyment.  Remember that holds may be placed on materials from across the state for all of your reading needs.   Puzzles for our younger patrons are available once again for in-library use.  New children’s puzzles are due to arrive at any time.  While in the Library, be sure to inquire about the Sunflower eLibrary and Hoopla for your needs at home and on the road.   For any library needs or questions that you may have, visit with one of our friendly and helpful staff librarians.
