Jennifer Cleveland, Director

Jennifer grew up in Salina where she and her family raised, trained, and showed horses. She and her husband Donnie moved to Minneapolis in the late 90’s and they raised their three children here.  Jennifer worked for the Ottawa County Conservation District as the District Manager for 18 years before taking over for the retiring director at the Minneapolis Public Library in July 2022.  She is a member of the Osage tribe and takes part in political and cultural activities. She is also an avid reader and typically finishes over a hundred books a year.  Her favorites are fantasy and historical biographies.

Mattie Main, Assistant Director and Youth Services Coordinator

Mattie loves small town living! She has an Associates Degree in Arts from Cloud County Community College.  Mattie has always loved helping others no matter what it may be!  She has been around kids, helping with daycares, babysitting, etc since she was eleven years old.  She has loved serving and going to her church groups and activities.  She likes to be with her family and friends, play volleyball, listen to music, dance, and loves to bake.  She started working at the Minneapolis Public Library when she was in high school.  She has worked the front desk, helped with many programs, been in charge of the teen/tween programming, and is now Assistant Director and in charge of all the youth programs.  She is so excited and ready to expand her knowledge.
